ลาดพร้าว-นายดามพ์ นานา ประธานเจ้าหน้าที่ฝ่ายการเงิน บริษัท อาร์เอส จำกัด (มหาชน) เปิดเผยว่า อาร์เอสมีโครงสร้างธุรกิจที่โดดเด่นพิเศษ และมีผลประกอบการเติบโตที่แข็งแกร่ง จึงได้รับเลือกเชิญแบบเฉพาะเจาะจงเป็น 1 ใน 6 องค์กรจากประเทศไทย เพื่อนำเสนอข้อมูลให้แก่นักลงทุนสถาบันในงาน Thailand Corporate Day 2018 by Daiwa Capital Markets & Thanachart Securities ระหว่างวันที่ 4-5 ตุลาคม 2561 ที่กรุงโตเกียว ประเทศญี่ปุ่น ปรากฎว่า กระแสตอบรับดีและได้รับความสนใจอย่างมากจากกองทุนชั้นนำ เนื่องจากอาร์เอสเป็นหนึ่งในหุ้นขวัญใจนักลงทุนทางด้านการเติบโต (Growth Stock) เพราะเป็นธุรกิจที่อยู่ในช่วงของการขยายตัว ทำให้ผลประกอบการเติบโตอย่างต่อเนื่อง และอยู่ในดัชนี SET100 Index จึงคาดว่านับจากนี้จะได้เห็นผลตอบรับและสัดส่วนการถือหุ้นของกลุ่มนักลงทุนสถาบันเพิ่มขึ้น ถือเป็นการส่งสัญญาณอันดีช่วยสร้างเสถียรภาพให้กับราคาหุ้นที่ดีอยู่แล้วให้ดียิ่งขึ้น ขณะเดียวกันการันตีถึงคุณภาพของบริษัทฯ เนื่องจากนักลงทุนกลุ่มนี้มักวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลอย่างดีในทุกมิติก่อนตัดสินใจลงทุน และเป็นกองทุนที่มีการลงทุนแบบระยะยาว ซึ่งจะทำให้หุ้นมีเสถียรภาพเพิ่มขึ้นด้วย

สำหรับประเด็นที่นักลงทุนต่างชาติสนใจมากที่สุดในการประชุม (conference) ครั้งนี้ คือ การพลิกโอกาสจากการบริหารธุรกิจดั้งเดิมอย่างมีเดียและมิวสิคที่ถนัดและเป็นผู้นำระดับประเทศ เดินหน้าขยายตัวสู่ธุรกิจใหม่ Multi-platform Commerce (MPC) แล้วประสบความสำเร็จกลายเป็นธุรกิจหลักในขณะนี้  รวมไปถึงทิศทางการดำเนินงานและศักยภาพการเติบโตของธุรกิจใหม่ที่มีแนวโน้มแรงดีต่อเนื่องยาวไปถึงไตรมาส 4 เนื่องจากเพิ่มจำนวนสินค้า (SKU) รวมเป็นกว่า 100 SKU ภายในสิ้นปีนี้ รวมถึงการนําเข้าผลิตภัณฑ์เฮลท์แอนบิวตี้มาทำตลาดและจัดจำหน่ายเอง เพื่อเพิ่มอัตรากำไรขั้นต้นมากขึ้น และการเพิ่มประเภทผลิตภัณฑ์ใหม่ๆ ออหสู่ท้องตลาด อีกทั้งฐานลูกค้าเพิ่มขึ้นต่อเนื่องเป็น 1 ล้านราย และคาดว่าจะขยับเป็น 1.1-1.2 ล้านรายในสิ้นปีนี้ พร้อมกับการพัฒนาทีม telesales ให้มีความแข็งแกร่งและมีความชำนาญในการปิดการขายและมียอดขายมากขึ้น ทำให้รายได้มีการขยายตัวอย่างต่อเนื่อง

ขณะที่ช่อง 8 ก็ได้รับความสนใจจากนักลงทุนเช่นกัน เตรียมเพิ่มคอนเทนต์ใหม่อีกเพียบเพื่อดันเรตติ้งพุ่งกระฉูดสร้างฐานการขายเวลาโฆษณาในปี 2562 เป็นไปตามเป้าที่วางไว้ โดยล่าสุดคอนเทนต์ที่ได้รับความนิยมสูง ได้แก่ ละครใหม่ “สาปกระสือ” ว่าด้วยตำนานความเฮี้ยนของกระสือที่อยู่คู่กับสังคมไทยมานาน ได้ “น้ำตาล ชาลิตา แสนแสน่ห์” อดีตนางงามเวทีมิสยูนิเวิร์สไทยแลนด์มารับงานแสดงเป็นครั้งแรก แสดงคู่กับ “สมาร์ท กฤษฏา” พระเอกระดับแถวหน้าเมืองไทย ที่ทำเรตติ้งพุ่งทะยานสูงสุดแตะ 2.105 ไปแล้ว และยังเป็นแรงส่งไปยังซีรีส์อินเดีย “พิฆเนศ มหาเทพไอยรา” ที่ออนแอร์ต่อเนื่องดันเรตติ้งเพิ่มขึ้นทันที

นอกจากนี้ วันที่ 31 ตุลาคม 2561 กำหนดใช้สิทธิใบสำคัญแสดงสิทธิซื้อหุ้นสามัญของบริษัทฯ (RS-W3) ครั้งที่ 3 ราคาใช้สิทธิ 12.50 บาทต่อหุ้น ซึ่งเงินที่ได้จากการแปลงวอร์แรนต์ทั้งหมดคาดว่าจะนำไปลดเงินกู้ และใช้เป็นทุนหมุนเวียนในการดำเนินงาน แบ่งเป็น 2 ส่วนหลักๆ คือ ส่วนแรกใช้พัฒนาระบบโครงสร้างพื้นฐานของช่อง 8 และการลงทุนผลิตรายการต่างๆ ตามแผนการเติมคอนเทนต์ต่อเนื่อง ส่วนที่สองใช้รองรับแผนขยายตลาดเชิงรุกสอดรับกับเทรนด์ตลาดสุขภาพและความงามที่กำลังเป็นที่นิยม โดยใช้พัฒนาระบบคอลเซ็นเตอร์และระบบฐานข้อมูลลูกค้า (Database) ทำให้เกิดความแม่นยำในการทำตลาดมากยิ่งขึ้น ตลอดจนจัดการระบบคลังสินค้าและระบบโลจิสติกส์ให้เกิดประสิทธิภาพสูงสุด

RS stocks receive great feedback after meeting with Japanese corporations as investors are confident in Multi-platform Commerce

RS stocks attract a lot of interest after meeting with Japanese investors. It has become one of the top growth stock options, and it is expected that foreign corporate investors will increase after its new business Multi-platform Commerce (MPC) becomes a rising star, strengthening the group’s financial stability.

Ladprao - Dam Nana, Chief Financial Officer of RS Public Company Limited, said that RS has an outstanding business structure and strong performance. Therefore, it has been selected as one of the six organizations from Thailand to present to investors at Thailand Corporate Day 2018 by Daiwa Capital Markets & Thanachart Securities during october 4-5, 2018 in Tokyo, Japan. It was well-received by corporate investors, as RS is one of the most prominent growth stock options. The company is expanding and its performance is growing steadily. On top of that, it is in the SET100 Index. It is expected that RS will see more foreign corporate investors in the near future, which will further strengthen its price while also proving the quality of the company, as foreign corporate investors always carefully study every aspect before investing. Due to the long-term nature of the investment, the stock price will be more stable. 

At the conference, the main draw for foreign investors was how RS had transformed from a traditional media and music company into a successful Multi-platform Commerce (MPC) company. Its new businesses have been doing well, and will continue into the fourth quarter of the year, with 100 SKUs to be on offer within the end of the year. RS also imports health and beauty products and takes care of marketing and distribution to increase profitability. New products are constantly introduced to the market, and the customer base has expanded to one million, with an aim to reach 1.1-1.2 million by the end of the year. Meanwhile, the telesales team is strengthened and trained to close deals and generate more sale in order to increase revenue.

At the same time, Channel 8 also attracts interest from investors. New contents are planned to further drive its rating and take its advertising revenue for 2019 to its goal. Most popular contents include new TV drama Sab Krasue, which is about Thai ghost krasue, starring former Miss Universe Thailand Chalita Suansane in her first ever TV drama, and  Krissada Pornweroj. The TV drama’s rating is now 2.105, which also helps boost the rating of Indian series Vighnaharta Ganesh.

RS-W3 warrants will be released October 31, 2018. The exercise price is 12.50 baht per share.  The capital raised will be used in two main areas: the improvement of Channel 8's infrastructure and content production following its plan, and market expansion in the health and beauty industry, which is on the rise. It will utilize a call center system and maximized its customer database for more marketing precision. Its stocking and logistic system will also be improved.
